Consequences of a clogged heat exchanger

Winter tips from www.ecofilter.store - Consequences of a clogged heat exchanger

Experts advise that the heat exchanger in your heating boiler is a fire tube made of metal or cast iron. It is heated by the heat source (solid fuel, gas or electricity) and then transfers the heat to the heating medium, which circulates through the entire heating system. If the heat exchanger is clean, it releases heat effectively. When it accumulates salt deposits in the form of boiler scale, its thermal conductivity decreases. The boiler then needs to heat the cooling liquid for a longer period, which leads to an increase in fuel or electricity consumption.

In case of severe contamination of the element, in order to maintain the desired temperature, it needs to be in a maximally heated state for a long time - this leads to overheating of the heat exchanger and its damage.

Deposits and scale also hinder the movement of the cooling liquid through the system. As a result, the load on the circulation pump increases. In this way, the dirty heat exchanger threatens not only the element itself, but also other important components in the system. To prevent damage, the boiler must be cleaned regularly.

We have a solution

The most elegant, inexpensive and reliable solution are galvanic descaling systems for water. Produced in Slovakia, constantly improved over the years and recognized by international institutions (certificates can be viewed on the website). They do not require additional energy for purification, nor consumables or maintenance - everything works on a galvanic principle described here: www.ecofilter.store/galvanic-water-purification

Installation is extremely easy and is tailored to the size of the water supply system. There are options for home and industrial use.
